Elden Ring Fan Vows To Fight Difficult Sekiro Boss Every Day Until Release
A seriously dedicated Elden Ring fan has vowed to take on the biggest boss in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice every day until the game is released. While other Elden Ring fans have been losing their mind over the lack of new information from Japanese developers From Software, one fan has decided to take a more proactive approach to pass the time, throwing down the gauntlet against the most difficult boss in Sekiro, Isshin the Sword Saint.
Elden Ring is the next title from Dark Souls developers From Software, announced back in E3 in 2019. Since being announced there has been no news about the game, with From Software fans getting upset at the absence of any information about Elden Ring in over a year and a half. The online Elden Ring community has even started a number of countdowns, with one countdown slowly erasing an image of From Software president Hidetaka Miyazaki from the subreddit.
For two weeks now, Redditor Altjohn has been taking on the most difficult battle in all of Sekiro - the final boss fight against Isshin the Sword Saint daily. This boss fight is the very last one in the game and is considered to be the most difficult by far, with many players struggling to beat the boss just once. Altjohn has been taking on the boss every day, with self-imposed modifiers making the fight even more difficult.
Altjohn is going beyond just taking on Isshin every day, the Redditor has been beating the boss without charms, healing items and all while ringing the Demon Bell. Without charms, the main character is vulnerable to chip damage that can make the fight that much harder. The Demon Bell also raises the game’s difficulty and the amount of damage enemies deal to the main character.
Unfortunately for Altjohn, there is no telling when Elden Ring will be released. There are rumors of a special event being held in March, but nothing concrete. Hopefully, this fan has the stamina to go the distance and the mental fortitude to last.
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is available on PS4, Xbox One, Stadia and PC. Elden Ring will release on PC, PS4, and Xbox One sometime in the future.
