However, one thing Jake and Rosa were also surprised by was the openness the detectives had and the extent to which they were aware of their personal lives.

Although Jake and Rosa made fun of it initially, they realized how different their friendship was. Rosa found that Jake was disappointed in not knowing much about Rosa’s personal life. Although she tried to deny it at first, Amy made it very clear that she was jealous when she started questioning Rosa's capabilities and leadership skills.

In Episode 21 of season 5, Amy and Rosa team up to catch a criminal who hadn't been able to catch previously. Both of them believed that they were the reason for him escaping the last time.

While on a chase, Amy hurt herself and dislocated her knee. At the end of the episode, the fans see both of them catching the criminal and owning the name ‘Sleuth Sisters’ that Amy had titled earlier.

6 Jake And Rosa: When They Lay Aside Their Egos In Two Doug Judy Situations

The fans witness a furious Jake when Doug returns in the second season. Jake was not willing to make a deal with Doug after he screwed up their deal last time. However, when he realized that Doug has intel that will be useful for Rosa’s task force, he accepted the deal. Rosa also returned the favor when Doug appeared in a later season. The fourth season of Halloween heist witnessed Amy and Rosa teaming up to win the plaque. Amy felt so proud upon realizing that Rosa went through Amy’s Halloween heist binder in which she had laid out the plan for the heist.

At a later time, when Rosa’s girlfriend Jocelyn was about to break up with her as they were not getting enough time together, viewers see Jake taking responsibility for a case allotted to both of them because he wanted Rosa to go after Jocelyn.

3 Amy and Rosa: ‘Never Have I Ever’ At The Bachelorette Party

Rosa is the most active participant in Amy’s bachelorette party and suggests the idea of playing ‘Never have I ever.' It was during the game they realized that Amy’s ex-boyfriend is the lead singer of the band that Jake booked for the wedding.

The fans love seeing the Jake-Rosa duo working on a case. In episode 6 of Season 6, Jake is seen to get very obsessed with a murder investigation. He gets very emotional and promised the mother of the victim that he will find out the culprit.

Although she couldn’t win it for her, Rosa stood for about 20 hours and competed against Amy’s ex-boyfriend Teddy Wells. In the final season, the fans see a very caring Rosa who took care of Amy during the delivery despite finding the process gross.
