Asteroid tracker: NASA confirms biggest asteroid to pass this year will reach 77,000mph

AN ASTEROID racing through space at about 77,000mph will safely swing past Earth this week, NASA's astronomers have confirmed. The asteroid does not pose any threat to our safety but it will likely be the biggest rock to visit our cosmic neighbourhood this year.
