DeMar DeRozan Ruled Out Monday vs. Pistons

DeRozan has been ruled out for Monday’s contest vs. the Pistons. This will mark his third straight missed game for personal reasons, which opens the door for Trey Lyles to draw the start at power forward. Lyles has started each of the past two games in place of DeRozan, but he’s played 14.3 minutes or less in both contests. That keeps him off the fantasy radar.

In other Spurs’ news, Derrick White is not listed on the injury report for Monday’s contest. White is a potential rest candidate on the second leg of a back-to-back, but he is at least tentatively expected to be in the lineup. White has yet to play in both legs of a back-to-back since returning to the lineup on January 30th, but he was limited to just 25.2 minutes in yesterday’s blowout loss vs. the 76ers.

Regardless of White’s status, expect Dejounte Murray to command an increased workload vs. the Pistons. He’s increased his usage rate by +1.8% with DeRozan and LaMarcus Aldridge off the court this season, resulting in an average of 1.10 FanDuel points per minute.
