U.S. Soccer Partners with TeachAids To Further Promote Concussion Education
U.S. Soccer announced today it has partnered with TeachAids to incorporate CrashCourse materials into its suite of concussion education offerings.
In collaboration with more than 100 medical and industry experts, TeachAids, a nonprofit leader in global education innovation, created CrashCourse to improve understanding and awareness surrounding concussions among youth athletes in all sports. The curriculum integrates state-of-the-art technology and interactive features to appeal specifically to athletes growing up in the digital native generation.
“At U.S. Soccer, our primary concern for all ages and levels of participants is health and safety,” said U.S. Soccer Chief Medical Officer Dr. George Chiampas. “We take head injuries especially seriously. We are delighted to strengthen our existing concussion education offerings with the addition of the excellent CrashCourse materials.”
“Our free CrashCourse products are widely acclaimed, and are rapidly becoming the gold standard for concussion education and certification. We are honored to be selected to join U.S. Soccer to participate in the health and safety education of its players of all ages and parents, as well as its coaches and officials,” adds Dr. Piya Sorcar, Founder and CEO of TeachAids.
