Erdogan reelected as chairman of Justice and Development Party

Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan has been re-elected as chairman of the ruling Justice and Development Party.

This is stated by the results of the vote, which took place at the seventh general congress of the AKP in Ankara.

All 1,428 delegates voted unanimously for his candidacy. At the same time, Erdogan was the only candidate nominated for this post.
