Wrigley Field and COVID-19 safety measures: What experience should fans expect?

When fans head to Wrigley Field for Cubs games this season, safety measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 will make the experience different. The pandemic guidelines put in place mean there will be far fewer people in the stands — 8,274 fans per home game, or 20% capacity. Much of the ballpark experience will transform to limit contact and create social distancing. This includes changes to how fans enter and exit the ballpark, order food and drinks and where they sit. Even ticketing will be different with no paper stubs. Attendees will use a mobile app to display a digital ticket. Here's a look at how it will work.
