Ghent Altarpiece, world’s ‘most stolen work of art,’ reopens to public in $35 million bullet-proof display case

The Adoration of the Mystic Lamb, painted by the brothers Jan and Hubert Van Eyck, was unveiled on Thursday in its new temperature-controlled case at the Cathedral of Saint Bavo in Ghent, for which it was created in 1432.
