Best NBA Player Props Bets for March 25
It’s a quiet Thursday night in the Association following a jam-packed Wednesday. The Knicks host the Wizards to start the evening at 7:30 p.m. ET while a potential NBA Finals preview but without stars LeBron James, Joel Embiid, and Anthony Davis Pacers goes down in LA between the Sixers and Lakers at 10:00. Make sure you get those fantasy lineups set after dinner not to miss a single stat.
But don’t stop your fantasy fix there. Also, check out FanDuel’s DFS to put a team together for tonight’s action on the hardcourt. We’re coming off our second bad beat of the week, this time thanks to blowouts. Our overs were hurt by Donovan Mitchell and Luka Doncic blowing out their opponents even though Mitchell missed it by one measly point. Still, 16 games over .500 sitting at 50-34 on the season is nothing to sneeze at. As always, we stand behind our predictions, but take a look to see if any other players jump out at you by using the SportsGrid Player Prop Tool. Ensure you always check back throughout the day, as odds and projections may change with news and starting rotations. When you’re looking to see what’s what, our good friends at the FanDuel Sportsbook have all the up-to-date and best odds in the industry waiting for you.
New York Knicks Julius Randle vs. Washington Wizards
The Bet: Over 25.5 Points (-112)
Julius Randle is coming off his second-highest scoring game of the season, and there’s reason to believe he can repeat the performance. Randle put up this big showing against these very same Wizards on Tuesday night when he went off for a game-high 37 points on 54 percent shooting while hitting seven of ten three-pointers. The Knicks big man has had a pair of solid games against Washington this year, dropping 24 on the Wiz while collecting 18 boards in mid-February. This following the last two seasons where Randle averaged 26 points in six games against the Wizards.
Randle isn’t the only player to scorch the Wizards as they’ve become the league’s punching bag. Washington gives up a league-worst 120 points per game on the sixth-highest opponents’ field goal percentage. The Wiz have been nearly as bad behind the arc giving up the eighth-most triples on the 4th highest opponents’ three-point field goal percentage. Randle had no problem exploiting that, hitting 70 percent from downtown while putting up 21 of his 37 from three-point land against Washington on Tuesday. There’s no reason the Knicks’ leading-scorer can’t keep it going for his third meeting with the Wizards on Thursday night.
The Knicks are a -3 point home favorite with a Moneyline of -152 against the shorthanded Nets. The FanDuel Sportsbook’s total is 225, higher than usual for the top-ranked Knicks defense because they face a Washington team that scores and especially allows a ton of points.
Portland Trail Blazers CJ McCollum vs. Miami Heat
The Bet: Under 20.5 Points (-110)
CJ McCollum hasn’t quite found his legs since missing two months with a broken foot (no pun intended). The Blazers guard led Portland in scoring for a big chunk early in the season, but since being back for five games, he hasn’t been his typically scorching self. Aside from a 32-point effort against the Mavericks last week, McCollum has failed to score more than 16 in a game. In those four contests, the former tenth overall draft pick is averaging just 12.5 points per game, a far cry from his near 24-point season average. Unfortunately for McCollum and fantasy owners, Miami isn’t the best team to get back on track against.
The Heat give up the fourth-fewest points in the league allowing just 106.2 per game. Miami is also in the top-ten in holding down opponents’ field goal percentage. They also clog the lane very well, limiting teams to an NBA-low 40.4 points in the paint per game on the fifth-worst field goal percentage from two-point range. The Heat have been just as efficient from the perimeter, allowing opposing teams to shoot just 34.3 percent from downtown for the league’s third-best mark. Miami has lost four straight and will undoubtedly try and up their intensity on the defensive end to stop the losing streak now.
The Trail Blazers are +3 point road dogs with a +132 Moneyline. The FanDuel’s Sportsbook has a middle ground total of 221.5, suggesting a lower scoring game than Portland is used to.
