How To Watch Apple 'Spring Loaded' Event On April 20

0

Apple has confirmed that its next hardware event is taking place on April 20, and as with all Apple events, there are multiple ways to watch it online for free. While the presentation will be a pre-recorded video rather than a live gathering, it's still a lot of fun to watch the show live with everyone else on the internet.

With this next event (nicknamed 'Spring Loaded'), Apple is expected to make quite a few announcements. Leading the charge will be the newest generation of the iPad Pro, offering upgrades to the processor, camera, USB-C port, and more. Apple is also expected to launch its long-awaited AirTags accessory, not to mention updates to the Apple TV and iMac. In other words, it's bound to be a busy show.

The good news is that Apple has made it incredibly easy to tune into its upcoming April event, ensuring everyone can follow along with the announcements as they happen. For a lot of people, the easiest way to watch will be through the Apple website. Just go to the Apple Events page on April 20, and at 10:00 AM PDT / 1:00 PM EDT, the live stream will begin for all to watch. The only requirement is that a supported browser is being used, including Safari, Chrome, Edge, or Firefox.

In addition to the Apple website, Apple's Spring Loaded event can also be found on YouTube. Head to the Apple YouTube channel on any device and click/tap on the video titled 'Apple Event — April 20.' The nice thing about watching the event via YouTube is that it can also be viewed on the YouTube mobile app or on a TV — making it that much more convenient to check out the event regardless of device/browser restrictions.

And, last but not least, Apple TV owners can tune in through the Apple TV app on their Apple TV streaming box. Apple events were previously broadcasts on the dedicated Events app, but in an effort to streamline all of its content into one place, that's now handled through Apple TV. The live stream starts at the same time regardless of where someone chooses to watch, so while there isn't one superior method out of the options that are available, it is nice that Apple gives a few different ways for people to watch however they like. Now all that's left to do is to wait for April 2o to get here.
