Five-car crash on A2 at B255 Bean Lane, Bean Interchange, near Northfleet
The A2 is now clear after being partially blocked London-bound following a crash involving five vehicles.
Police attended the incident at 2.06pm at the B255 Bean Lane, Bean Interchange.
Following the accident there was congestion just after the Northfleet/Ebbsfleet turn-off.
A police spokesman said: "Police were called to a collision, reported to involve five vehicles, on the A2 Londonbound near Bean.
"Officers attended and enforced a rolling road closure due to the carriageway being partially obstructed, however it is now clear."
South East Coast Ambulance Service also attended to assess for injuries.
Kent Fire and Rescue Service also assisted the police at the scene.
Two fire engines were sent to the incident and crews helped make the scene safe.
