The FDA and CDC recommended Tuesday a "pause" in the administration of Johnson & Johnson's single-dose COVID-19 vaccine in the U.S. The recommendation comes after three states temporarily shut down COVID-19 vaccine sites following reports of some people experiencing rare adverse reactions to the shot.
