Citing the disparity in vaccination rates between Toronto’s rich and poor neighbourhoods, lawyer David Baker said the province “knew what had to be done in order to prevent identifiable communities from becoming COVID death and hospitalization hot spots. Had those issues been addressed before vaccines were even available many lives could have been saved.”
