Down to six pretty solid schools now

According to the Fayetteville paper, Duke guard Jordan Goldwire, who has decided to spend his bonus year somewhere else, is down to six schools: Oregon State, Wichita State, Utah, BYU, Texas Tech and Oklahoma.

All of them could be interesting.

Oregon State just had a monster run in the NCAA Tournament, Wichita State is regrouping nicely under Isaac Brown, Craig Smith just took over at Utah after a nice turn at Utah State, BYU is coached by rising star Mark Pope, Texas Tech is now run by defensive savant Mark Adams and Porter Moser just took over at Oklahoma.

Those are some solid choices, particularly for a defensively oriented guard. Presumably it’l come down to his relationship with his new coach and teammates.
