The French embassy in Delhi launched an alumni ambassadorship programme to promote better people-to-people ties between India and France during the visit of Jean-Yves Le Drian, minister for Europe and foreign affairs of France, to India earlier this week. Fifteen alumni ambassadors were inducted into the programme for 2021-2023 during an investiture ceremony in the capital city on Tuesday.
