This is a sad story that's gathering pace today. Last night an Albion Rovers player who'd suffered mental health issues and had previously attempted suicide was abused by an opposition player, telling him he should have got it right first time. He decided to retire from football at half time last night before naming and shaming the player concerned. It turns out the abuser is on the sex offender's register too, so not the most desirable of characters. I really hope he gets booted out of the game and the Albion Rovers guy goes back on his decision.
