Where to Find Pink Moonflower Seeds in Nier Replicant (& What It’s For)
Pink Moonflower Seeds are pretty hard to come by in the NieR Replicant Remaster. This guide will show players how they can obtain them. Outside of hunting for a cure for your sister's illness, players will spend a large chunk of their time completing side quests for people in the village. For those looking to 100% everything in the game, they will need to build up that green thumb and do some gardening. This questline can be completed in either Path A or Path B so don't worry if you're already halfway through the game. Here is how players can get the Pink Moonflower Seeds in the game.
Pink Moonflower Seeds need to be cross-bred since they are not available in any of the shops. Players will first need to complete the "A Return to Shopping" quest to unlock more garden space. This can be done near the beginning of the game. If the player is already on Path B, they can buy the Cultivator's Handbook from the village florist to get the same results. Now that the player has access to the garden, here is how they can crossbreed to make Pink Moonflower Seeds.
Here is the cross-bred guide on how to make different types of flower seeds.
- Blue + Gold = Indigo
- Red + Gold = Peach
- Indigo + Red = Pink
- Peach + Pink = White
Players are only able to purchase Blue, Gold, and Red seeds. The player will need to place the seeds in a back and forth pattern in the row of possible 15 to create the mutation. For example, setting the seeds to Blue, Gold, Blue, Gold has a better chance of spawning an Indigo flower. This process also takes real-world time to complete. Players can enter their system settings to skip ahead two days so the flowers will spawn.
Players will also want to make multiple save files for this process since there's only a chance the mutation will appear. Once the player has enough Indigo Seeds, plant those with Red Seeds to start mixing for Pink ones. It's time-consuming and a bit random but eventually, Pink Moonflower Seeds will appear. These are essential for the "Life in the Sands" mission that requires players to get 10 Pink Moonflower Seeds. Not only that but Pink Moonflower Seeds are needed to work towards White Moonflower Seeds which are the rarest in the game.
