Gear directly on the raft floor?
Hello all!
I have been toying around with a small Intex "raft" (more a toy) for a few years but has gotten a "real" raft now (a ROBfin Hobit 350 with a small NRS rowing frame). I am about to make a hard/suspended floor for the middle section but I am having problems fitting the only "hard" item I carry on my short expeditions (a waterproof plastic barrel) in that section of the raft.
What do you think of having the barrel in either end of the raft directly on the soft (self-bailing) bottom...
