Georgia judge sets October trial for three suspects in caught-on-video Ahmaud Arbery homicide

The judge issued a notice stating that jury selection will begin Oct. 18, with the trial commencing as soon as a jury is seated. Authorities didn’t bring charges in the Feb. 2020 slaying more than two months later, when video of the killing sparked a national outcry. All three suspects have been jailed without bond since their arrests.
