Below Deck: All Plastic Surgery Procedures Kate Chastain Has Done
After a few years of being on Below Deck, viewers started to notice a change in Kate Chastain and were wondering if America's favorite chief stewardess has ever gone under the knife. There have always been rumors about whether or not Kate has received any type of plastic surgery due to some apparent changes in her facial features. Kate has confirmed she has received some procedures in the past, but not nearly as many as some people may think.
Kate was introduced to Below Deck fans for season two of the Bravo series. Though she became a mainstay on the show, she left after season seven. She was the chief stewardess alongside Captain Lee, and was as integral to the Bravo series as the salty sea caption. As the years went on, Kate started to look noticeably different. Obviously, viewers took note and were curious about what kind of work she has gotten done.
Kate has never shied away from talking about procedures she has received in the past. In fact, she openly and unashamedly admits to getting some procedures done. Most recently, during an episode of Bravo's Chat Room, Kate revealed she got an "aggressive" laser treatment. "I got a laser facial, and I thought, 'This is perfect!' I'm not leaving my house, and I got the mini version... and it is aggressive," she admitted to her former co-hosts. When the ladies asked if she has ever received anything that pierced the skin, she admitted to getting Botox. In fact, the former chief stew even made light of her injections on Twitter in 2019. She shared a New York Post article about how women are getting plastic surgery to fix "resting b*tch face." She wrote alongside the article, "#Trendsetter since season 2 #BelowDeck."
However, some fans believe Kate may have gotten more procedures done than she may have let on. Fans have noticed her nose looks slimmer now compared to a couple of years prior. Nonetheless, the differences in her nose could be from using certain makeup techniques, such as contouring, to help change the shape. In fact, it is likely contouring is the reason behind the change, as Kate isn't afraid to admit when she receives a facial procedure. While she has not admitted to getting her lips injected, they do look quite different than they did during the first few seasons of Below Deck. During an episode of Watch What Happens Live, Andy Cohen complimented her stunning new look and asked Kate if she got lip injections. Kate denied his claims and said she is looking better nowadays because she is getting more sleep and tried out a new lipstick her makeup artist suggested.
Kate has admitted to getting surface-level procedures in the past. However, she has never received anything too invasive. That means no nose job, lip injections, or any type of implants. However, some fans are still skeptical, as certain parts of Kate's face have changed so drastically. Considering her changed appearance, it's hard to believe she has only gotten a laser facial and some Botox. Nonetheless, whether or not she did anything more than she disclosed, Kate still looks phenomenal.
