Seven arrested after one man stabbed during mass brawl in Selfridges

Seven people have been arrested after a man was stabbed in Selfridges, on London’s Oxford Street, during a mass brawl.

Shocking footage from inside the shop showed a male holding a knife, as a mannequin was thrown to the floor. A scuffle then began, with another male heard shouting ‘no, no, no’.

Shop assistants could then be seen following the group as they made their way through the flagship store.

Police were called to the scene at 7.35pm. Officers confirmed that one male was stabbed in the leg during the incident.

He was rushed to hospital for treatment, but his condition is not thought to be serious.

The male is also one of the seven people who were arrested, a spokesperson for the Met Police said.

It is not clear what the seven were arrested for. Affray is included among the offences, the spokesperson said.
