Coronavirus: Supermarkets reassure Safepass not needed to shop in them

The Pancyprian Association of Supermarkets (Pasype) reassured customers on Sunday that they would not need a Safepass to enter their stores, but they will need on if they want to visit a café that is housed outside at the store.

For supermarkets that are based in malls a Safepass is not needed either, as long as the customer goes in to the supermarket and leaves directly, not visiting any other shops while there. If they decide they want to, a Safepass will be needed.

The association also clarified that from Monday only disabled customers and those aged over 65 will be served before 9am.
