Athletic idea: Morgan Rielly for Kempe (Would you do it?)
First off, there is no rumor of this happening, simply a suggestion by one of the Athletic writers. Just wondering would you do Rielly for Kempe and I assume some picks? I wouldn't without an extension, which I would say is unlikely, but it's summer so might as well put it out there.

Rielly is a class below some other recent players in that role, such as Victor Hedman and Alex Pietrangelo. But with Jake Muzzin and T.J. Brodie signed for the foreseeable future, perhaps the Leafs can have a strong enough group with their top three D, with Rielly leading the pack as Kris Letang Lite?
Or could the Leafs have interest in 24-year-old Adrian Kempe, a top-six forward with a $2 million cap hit next season, as part of a package from the Kings?
