Baowu Steel will put a blast furnace (BF) and a basic oxygen furnace (BOF) into production in August at its Zhanjiang plant in Guangdong province to replace the capacity of obsolete equipment that has been dismantled, according to a notice released by the province's Department of Industry & Information Technology earlier this week.
