How to Complete the Nocturne Triumph in Destiny 2 | Screen Rant
Destiny 2: Season of the Splicer brings a new title for players to earn, and triumphs to complete. These triumphs are tied in with the seasonal content, requiring players to complete various activities with missions, weapons, and gear. Additionally, eight Path of the Splicer quests are now available for all players to complete, telling the story of the endless night that had covered the Last City.
Unfortunately, players who have are just returning mid-season to earn new titles and complete challenges may be met with some spoilers. The endless night has already come to an end, as the Vex Dreaming Mind, Quria, has already been defeated. The quests and seasonal challenges can still be completed, and they'll need to be in order for players to complete the lore book and Nocturne triumph associated with this season's story.
To complete the Nocturne Triumph in Destiny 2 players will have to collect all the pages of the "Beneath an Endless Night" lore book. This lore book is an in-game collectible tied to the content included with Season of the Splicer. There are ten pages in total to collect, and now that all of the Path of the Splicer quests are available players can earn eight of the ten by completing each quest.
The first page of "Beneath an Endless Night" lore book is tied to the beginning mission Beneath The Great Machine, where Guardians travel to Europa to meet Mithrax and the other Fallen refugees. After the Fallen are relocated to the Last City and the mission concludes, players will be awarded the first page of the lore book. The next eight pages are tied to the Path of the Splicer quest missions. Players will be awarded another lore book page at the end of every questline.
Each Path of the Splicer mission begins with talking to the Splicer Servitor in the H.E.L.M. Next, Guardians will be prompted to make a Key Code with the Splicer Gauntlet for 50 Ether. Ether can be acquired by completing playlist activities. Bonus Ether can be obtained by completing the listed daily activity, located by hovering over the Splicer Gauntlet in the Quest tab. After a Key Code is acquired players will have to complete the new six-player activity Override and open a Conflux chest. The first and second Path of the Splicer quests ends with talking to Mithrax in the H.E.L.M. while the remaining six have players complete the new Expunge missions in various locations across the system.
The tenth page has not been released yet. It is tied to the epilogue of the season, which Bungie has not released at this time. However, reports from the community have indicated that some players have been awarded the tenth page without an epilogue. Nonetheless, players who have the tenth page now will be able to claim the Nocturne triumph - and be one step closer to unlocking the Seasonal "Splicer" title.
Destiny 2 is available on PC, PlayStation4, PlayStation5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S, and Google Stadia platforms.
