The Real Housewives of New York's Ramona Singer is in jeopardy of not being asked back for the next season. Season 13 has been an eye-opener, and the OG may have just worn out her welcome with the same old antics. But in such a polarizing time of Black Lives Matter and the 2020 election, there isn’t much room left for her inexcusable behavior.
Singer has had the reputation of being somewhat of a mean girl thanks to her Singer Stinger. She often says whatever she wants without worrying about who she will offend. She has also been known to leak stories to the press as well as totally refuse to abide by the coronavirus pandemic rules. The OG has been called out for claiming she donated blood plasma and partying in Florida. Quite frankly, fans and her co-stars have had enough. The most recent episode showed Singer not being able to talk about politics like an adult leading most viewers to believe she was a Trump supporter. Leave it to Singer to try and make herself look better after a rough time in lockdown. She is the only cast member who has been with the show since day one, and it looks like her time may be up.
According to Radar Online, Singer may not be invited back to the next season of the show. Their source shared that “One, she is too expensive. She is the only lady that has been on the show from day one, and her salary reflects it." Radar went on to say that many fans have pointed out that the basic premise of RHONY doesn’t work anymore. While it was once fun to watch older, white women acting poorly, that behavior doesn’t work today.
Singer is said to be extremely angry with the changes to show. According to Radar, she does not understand why suddenly her terrible behavior is not making for great television anymore. She claims she was rewarded for her behavior for over 10 years now, and she doesn't understand why that is changing. Only time will tell if Singer gets the axe on the show or if producers choose to keep her around for another season.
