Global outage hits websites of Canadian banks, big businesses

Scotiabank, RBC and BMO all reported experiencing widespread online outages. Cloud services provider Akamai Technologies, which supports large companies globally, said the disruption was not a cyberattack. Many businesses appear to be back online.
