October trial date set for Ald. Patrick Daley Thompson in federal tax case

A federal judge on Thursday set an Oct. 18 trial date for Ald. Patrick Daley Thompson, the grandson and nephew of two legendary Chicago mayors charged with tax-related counts stemming from the collapse of a clout-heavy bank.
