COVID-19 update: Armenia reports 225 new cases, bringing total to 228,161

The number of the confirmed coronavirus cases in Armenia increased by 225 as of Thursday morning, bringing the country total to 228,161.

The National Center for Disease Control and Prevention reported two deaths, raising the overall number of officially registered fatalities to 4,575.

The recoveries increased by 91 to reach 218,676 in the past 24 hours; some 3,797 active cases are still under treatment. As many as 5,034 tests were conducted in the past 24 hours, with the overall number of the officially registered tests standing at 1,287,379.
