Steve Rogers Is Not A Virgin Says Captain America: First Avenger Writers
The majority of the MCU fans believe that Captain America maintained his virginity well into the future, i.e., when he woke up in 2011 and up until the Avengers defeated Thanos in Avengers: Endgame. It is believed that Steve remained a virgin until he went back in the past to return the Infinity Stones and decided to settle down with Peggy to live the life he never had a chance to experience. But apparently, that is not the case.
In a chat with Yahoo, screenwriters of Captain America: The First Avenger, Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely divulged some secrets about the American superhero. One of the biggest revelations is that Steve Rogers was not a virgin. In fact, he lost his virginity long before he landed in the future. According to McFeely, when Steve was busy doing that USO tour across the nation in the first film, he was engaged in a lot more than just singing and dancing. Read McFeely's statement below:
I think he loses his virginity! Why do people think he’s a virgin?
If you look like that, and you’re going to city to city, and you’re signing autographs for the likes of the ladies that he’s signing the autographs for, I’ve got to imagine that [he lost his virginity].
Markus further seconded McFeely’s assessment by establishing that “Steve Rogers isn’t a prude.” Even though he has been portrayed as someone who is a novice when it comes to matters relating to sex and is awfully concerned about following rules, Markus says he is not a “choirboy.” And moreover, the scenario painted by McFeely does make a lot of sense.
Even though at the time, Steve was nothing more than a propaganda tool and was being used by the government, he was still nothing short of a Greek God. The First Avenger gave plenty of proof when it comes to the effect Steve has on women. Going by how Natalie Dormer's Lorraine “thanks” him later in the film, it is easy to imagine Captain America getting sexual offers along with the requests to sign autographs.
