The bride-to-be is the daughter of Denise and Ron Essmyer of St. Louis.

The groom-to-be is the son of Mary and Bruce Sheehan of St. Louis.

Essmyer graduated from Missouri State University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Gerontology and Psychology. She is the resident services director for Boulevard Senior Living.
