Rays option SS Taylor Walls to Triple-A, recall RHP Sean Poppen

The Tampa Bay Rays optioned shortstop Taylor Walls to Triple-A Durham on Saturday.

In a corresponding move, the Rays recalled right-hander Sean Poppen from Durham.
