China’s sanctions against seven US politicians, organisations, human rights activists and researchers will not stop Washington from continuing its sanctions policy against Beijing

White House press secretary Jen Psaki said at a regular briefing for reporters on Friday.

“We are, of course, aware of reports that the PRC has imposed sanctions <…>. We are not deterred by these actions, we remain fully committed to applying all appropriate US sanctions powers”, –  she said.

News Front earlier reported that China is imposing sanctions on seven former US officials and organisations over their “misguided actions” against Hong Kong, according to a statement issued by China’s Foreign Ministry media.
