Israel's forex reserves hit record 201.69 bln USD

JERUSALEM, Aug. 5 (Xinhua) -- Israel's foreign exchange reserves reached a new record of 201.69 billion U.S. dollars at the end of July, according to data issued by Israel's central bank on Thursday.

This is an increase of about 1.52 billion dollars month on month from the end of June.

The total reserves represent 49 percent of Israeli GDP, the Bank of Israel said.
