France edges Slovenia for Olympic men's basketball final

TOKYO, Aug. 5 (Xinhua) -- Nicolas Batum blocked Klemen Prepelic's layup with 2 seconds left as France edged Slovenia 90-89 in the men's basketball semifinals at the Tokyo Olympics here on Thursday.

France will play the United States in the final on Saturday.

Luka Doncic had a triple-double for Slovenia with 16 points, 10 rebounds and 18 assists. Mike Tobey scored 23 and Prepelic added 17.
