Joe Rogan will be missing in action at this weekend’s UFC 265 card in Houston.

The longtime color commentator for the promotion will not be part of the broadcast team on Saturday night as he will be traveling to Iowa and Wisconsin as part of his ongoing comedy tour.

While Rogan no longer travels internationally, he rarely misses domestic pay-per-view cards but this is one occasion where he will be missing from the commentary team.

In his place steps former UFC bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz, who will call the action alongside former two-division champion Daniel Cormier and play-by-play man Jon Anik according to ESPN officials speaking to MMA Fighting.

Megan Olivi will handle backstage interviews for the event.

UFC 265 is headlined by an interim heavyweight title fight between Derrick Lewis and undefeated challenger Ciryl Gane.

Former UFC champion Jose Aldo is also back in action this weekend in a featured bantamweight bout against Pedro Munhoz, while Michael Chiesa and Vicente Luque clash in a key matchup at welterweight.

The analysts for the weekend include Max Kellerman, former UFC title contender Chael Sonnen and ESPN reporter Brett Okamoto on the desk.
