Oil prices drop amid demand worries
NEW YORK, Aug. 9 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices fell on Monday as traders worried about demand outlook amid a resurgence in COVID-19 infections.
The West Texas Intermediate for September delivery lost 1.8 U.S. dollars, or 2.6 percent, to settle at 66.48 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for October delivery decreased 1.66 dollars, or 2.3 percent, to close at 69.04 dollars a barrel on the
