Kel’el Ware to Oregon

Kel’el Ware, the 7-foot, 220-pound 5-star forward/center from North Little Rock (AR) and All Arkansas Red, committed to Oregon on Monday, he told ZAGSBLOG.
Ranked the No. 3 center in the Class of 2022 by 247Sports.com, he had also been courted by Arkansas, Ole Miss, and Texas, among others.
“I will be taking my talents to Oregon,” he said. “I picked them because everything felt so perfect. The coaching staff was great. I feel like I could bring my defense and being able to score on offense easy and I will try my best to recruit other players.”
Ware joins point guard Dior Johnson in coach Dana Altman’s 2022 class.
For the 2021-22 season, Oregon also adds Syracuse transfer Quincy Guerrier, junior college star Rivaldo Soares, Oklahoma transfer De’Vion Harmon and Rutgers transfer Jacob Young, plus incoming power forward Isaac Johnson and incoming big man Nate Brittle.
