90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way star Ariela Weinberg has spilled the tea on Biniyam Shibre’s ex ahead of her ex-husband Leandro’s Ethiopia visit. When fans saw Ari talking about Leandro in the premiere of the 90 Day Fiancé spin-off, they couldn’t help but notice she had more chemistry with him than with Bini. Not only did Ariela confess she was close friends with her first husband, but she also stayed with him the last time she was in America. But is Ariela trying to use Leandro to compete with Biniyam’s former flame who still keeps meeting him?
On 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 3, Ariela and Biniyam’s storyline has taken a twisted yet fun new turn. While admitting that 90 Day Fiancé celeb Biniyam was out of a job due to COVID-19, she also updated viewers that her parents were paying for a three-bedroom house and a nanny. But despite it all, Ariela was still isolated and homesick, which made her invite her Argentinian ex-husband of 10 years to meet her baby and Baby Cool. According to Ariela, she and Leandro went their separate ways when she wanted to travel and he wanted to get his doctorate.
Although 90 Day Fiancé cast member Ariela claimed that Biniyam was fine with her and Leandro’s bond, he spoke of not being comfortable and the relationship scaring him. Amidst giggly Ariela being unable to stop talking about her former husband, Instagram fans asked her what she would do if there was a role reversal and she had to stay with Biniyam’s ex. One fan protested that Biniyam should be allowed to bring his ex to the house too, and Ariela shockingly replied, “He does. Often. She’s lovely.” Another fan wrote, “The ex visiting him is a big no!” and asked Ariela what she’d do if the scenario was turned around. “His ex visits us frequently,” New Jersey native Ariela commented.
But then Ariela also added that Biniyam’s ex “was on last season.” While Ariela is okay with Biniyam’s ex visiting, it seems that she’s referring to the lady that Biniyam was playing “butt-bongos” with in the club in an infamous 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way scene and not his ex-wife Bria. Biniyam had invited Ariela and her mom, Janice, to his Ethiopian club where he worked every single night and danced with the “really cute” woman, whom Ari wasn’t sure how long he dated. “Better watch out Ari. Especially when he’s dancing at night and you’re home alone,” 90 Day Fiancé fan-favorite mom Janice had warned Ariela then. According to 90 Day Fiancé's Twitter account, Bini’s ex-girlfriend and current dance partner comes to his house every week.
Ariela’s fiancé and his ex then practice together so they don’t forget the choreography when the clubs open again. It’s possible that Biniyam’s actions led Ariela into thinking it was okay to have her ex-husband stay with them. In turn, she’s been labeled manipulative, and fans are wondering if Ariela could dump Biniyam and choose to go live a satisfying life in American with Leandro instead. In any case, Ariela admitting that she was calling Leandro and crying when she and Bini were fighting is a major red flag. But 90 Day Fiancé lovebirds Ariela and Biniyam are still together and building a life in New York City, which proves that Leandro was probably a pawn in the game.
