Delta Air to hire 2,700 attendants, pilots as travel surges

CHICAGO, Illinois: Delta Air announced on Tuesday that it would hire 1,500 new flight attendants, based upon demand in air travel during summer 2022.

Besides hiring new flight attendants, Delta is also hiring 1,200 pilots.

In past months, many airlines have struggled to keep up with customer demand due to staffing shortages.

In fact, last week Southwest Airlines had to reduce its scheduled flights,
