Gold falls as investors await U.S. monthly jobs report

CHICAGO, Sept. 2 (Xinhua) -- Gold futures on the COMEX division of the New York Mercantile Exchange fell on Thursday as investors await the U.S. monthly jobs report due on Friday.

The most active gold contract for December delivery fell 4.5 U.S. dollars, or 0.25 percent, to close at 1,811.5 dollars per ounce.

Traders are waiting for U.S. monthly jobs report for the next direction.
