U.S. dollar slips as euro, sterling rise
NEW YORK, Sept. 2 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar fell in late trading on Thursday amid strength in the euro and the British pound.
The dollar index, which measures the greenback against six major peers, decreased 0.25 percent at 92.2254.
In late New York trading, the euro increased to 1.1874 U.S. dollars from 1.1845 dollars in the previous session, and the British pound was up to 1.3839 dollars from 1.3779 U
