RHOBH: Where All Of The Housewives Stand In Erika & Sutton’s Feud
Erika Jayne and Sutton Stracke's feud has taken over The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Here's where the other Beverly Hills housewives stand.
This season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has been dominated by the feud between Erika Jayne and Sutton Stracke, but the rest of the housewives have all made their voices heard as well. Although everyone started off on the same side in support of Erika after news of her divorce broke, the ladies of Beverly Hills started to join different teams as Sutton and Erika's disagreement evolved into a full-on war. From Team Erika to Team Sutton to Team In Between, here's where the rest of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast stand in the friend group's clash.
At the beginning of the season, all of the Beverly Hills housewives were a united front in support of Erika after her ugly divorce from Tom Girardi. Sutton was one of the most compassionate toward Erika, with whom she revealed that her traumatic past with her father. Like any entertaining RHOBH season, however, alliances change.
When Sutton started to question Erika's story, the Georgian housewives initiated a divisive battle. While none of the other housewives have been as vocal about their opinions as Sutton, all eight of the women at Kathy Hilton's dinner party from Hell have said enough to let fans know whether they're on Erika's, Sutton's, or no one's side.
Lisa Rinna is the closest to Erika of all of the Beverly Hills housewives, so it's no surprise that she is blindly following her friend into the trenches. Lisa has demonstrated her loyalty to Erika by not commenting on the veracity of her statements and putting extra pressure on Sutton. Lisa is one of the first to imply that Sutton is spineless and she was undoubtedly the housewife to inform Erika about the conversation Sutton hosted just before Kyle Richards' explosive Christmas dinner.
Crystal Kung-Minkoff and Kathy Hilton have taken as bold of a stance as Lisa has, but their support of Erika is evident. When Erika was dealing with a round of quick-fire questions at Kathy's dinner, Crystal defended Erika. Although Crystal's defense was a messy comparison to the Me Too movement, her statement was meant to suggest that Erika isn't guilty just by association. Kathy showed her support for Erika when she suggested that Sutton was only asking questions because she cared about her reputation at her country club.
In the lonely corner of ardent Sutton supporters is her friend Garcelle Beauvais. Throughout The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 11, Garcelle has been in Sutton's corner. When Crystal claimed that Sutton violated her space, Garcelle asserted that "violate" was too harsh of a word for Crystal to use. At Kathy's dinner, Garcelle attempted to help Erika see Sutton's point of view, only to be swerved away from. Finally, Garcelle's experience with her sister being the victim of a lawyer's greed gives her more reason to align with Sutton's skepticism.
Throughout the messy dispute between Erika and Sutton, frenemies Kyle and Dorit have shown the most indecision. Kyle and Dorit's inability to pick a side to stick to appears to come from two different places; however. Kyle shared that she believes Erika, but she has demonstrated that she's not completely sold. In an attempt to come off as fair as possible, Kyle has frank conversations with Sutton about her hesitations with Erika. At the same time, Kyle called Sutton out at dinner and claimed she wasn't being truthful in front of Erika. If Kyle were on a side, it would definitely be Erika's, but she has demonstrated too much sympathy for Sutton's side to be completely Team Pretty Mess.
Fans have been frustrated with Dorit because she jumps back and forth between agreeing with Sutton and agreeing with Erika. The true double agent of the season, Dorit is all-in on Sutton's skepticism until Erika is angrily crying at her from across the table. Dorit appears to have the most trouble sharing what she's actually thinking, whether it's out of compassion or fear is up for debate. Hopefully, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills will resolve their feud before their divided house crumbles in on itself.
