Love Island fans rage as Jake tells Liberty he’s ‘too busy’ to pursue relationship in extremely awkward meet up

LOVE Island fans were furious tonight as Jake told Liberty he was “too busy” to pursue a relationship.

Liberty, 21, and Jake, 24, broke up in the villa four days before the final after being favourites to win the series.

They decided to quit together but tonight it was revealed they had barely spoken since.

Liberty and Jake were filmed reuniting for a chat that aired on the Love Island Reunion tonight, and needless to say it was extremely awkward.

The pair arranged to meet at a rooftop bar in London with Kaz joining Liberty for support.

When Jake arrived she left them to it, but Liberty immediately confronted Jake about him not being in contact with her since leaving the villa.

He said: “I FaceTimed you a couple of times.”

“Once … It’s hard obviously I still have feelings for you,” admitted Liberty.

She added: “I just feel like there hasn’t been an effort to make it work properly.”

Liberty looked gutted as Jake said he’d rather they didn’t meet up and wanted them to be “separate” adding that he was “so busy”.
