De Blasio draws ire from locals while touring Ida damage in Queens: ‘Do something’

After surveying the extensive damage on a low-lying block in Woodside that was almost entirely submerged by Ida, the mayor told reporters that the storm was an unforeseeable anomaly in that it flooded sections of the city that he said didn’t use to see such devastation.
