Defensive miracle (11 replies)

I don’t know how he’s done it but Bowyer’s biggest miracle so far, has been to turn our leaking, creaking defence into a solid, cohesive, defensive unit.
I admit that I had wrote off every defender we had at some point, over the last 2/3 seasons because of the basic errors we made game after game. Even when we had basically 9 defensive players playing under Karanka, we’d still drop clanger after clanger.
Enter Bowyer and within half a dozen games, the stupid errors had stopped. Full credit should go to the 3 centre half’s who have obviously taken on board the managers instructions. I think I should give a special mention to Pederson, who I have slated endlessly. He is a much better left sided centre half than he is a full back.
All in all, Bowyer is a genius!
