RHOP: Mia Thornton & Askale Davis Exchange Low Blows On Twitter
Mia Thornton and Askale Davis' feud on The Real Housewives of Potomac spilled over to Twitter, where they tossed low blows at each other. Their social war of words came after Askale finally called out Mia on the show for all the drama she's been starting. But after Mia made a reference to Askale living with her mother on Twitter, Askale couldn't miss the opportunity to remind Mia what happens when you throw stones while living in a glass house. Now Askale has been added to Mia's growing list of enemies in her debut season.
Mia has set RHOP season 6 off with a bang. As the show newcomer, Mia has stepped on the scene to stir the pot and throw shade. No one is off limits, except for the friend that introduced her to the group, Karen Huger. At home, Mia lives with her older husband, whom she met while working at a high-end strip club, and her three kids. Viewers are getting an inside look into Mia's scarred relationship with her mom, who lost custody of her during her childhood due to her battle with drug addiction. Now as Mia's mom works to live a sober life, Mia is trying to get her mom to build a bond with her children.
With all the real-life drama Mia has going on at home, it's no wonder why she manages to spark many of the showdowns this season. Most recently, she was called out after mocking Askale for attempting to mediate an argument between Gizelle, Robyn and Wendy. After watching the heated exchange play out, Mia hopped on Twitter to blast Askale's family life. "Wearing designer living in a townhouse with your mother. Wonder why we haven’t seen your luxurious lavish lifestyle," Mia said in tweets captured by Urban Belle Magazine. "H*e ***–Nah, college kid…I’m a BOSS *****! #miathornton CEO. Try again."
But Askale has shown that she also isn't afraid to engage in a shade-throwing session. Once she caught wind of Mia's mean tweet, Askale shot back with a low blow in reference to Mia's scarred relationship with her mother. "Let’s be clear, I don’t live with my mother, my mother lives with me," Askale quipped. "She moved in to help care for her grandkids. That’s what a mother does when she loves you. We’re not all 'working' on our relationship. Sorry, Sis. Be blessed.” Mia made sure she got the last word on Twitter and sent out another tweet referencing her "boss" lifestyle and the coins she's busy counting. She also insinuated that Askale took a "nasty" jab by referencing her mother. “I don’t do nasty. Shade, yes. But not nasty. Discussing my mother is nasty," Mia said.
But Askale is just one of the few enemies Mia has managed to acquire. She first bumped heads with Wendy Osefo before getting into it with Gizelle and Robyn. Now she's feuding with Candiace Dillard and Askale on Twitter while also fighting with them on The Real Housewives of Potomac. Viewers are so far loving all the drama Mia is bringing. However, she isn't necessarily a fan-favorite due to her often being in the wrong with how she handles her quarrels. Mia is clearly Housewives material and the perfect addition to the shady ladies in Potomac.
