Rikers officers will sue NYC over private security push: union head

During testimony to the state Assembly’s Correction Committee, Benny Boscio, president of the Correction Officers’ Benevolent Association, called the city’s move to temporarily privatize some Rikers staff “unacceptable” and said it would set a bad precedent for other public sector unions.
