RHOC: Tamra Judge Shows Support To Vicki Gunvalson On IG Amid Breakup
It's time to "whoop it up" because The Real Housewives of Orange County alum Tamra Judge showed her support to Vicki Gunvalson after her recent public breakup. Gunvalson confirmed her split with Steve Lodge on September 29 after reports were swirling around that the two ended their two-year engagement. The two had broken up in June 2021 but decided to work on their relationship.
The former RHOC star hasn't had the best of luck when it comes to men. Gunvalson was first married at the age of 21 to Michael Wolfsmith Sr., which the reality star claims as a nightmare marriage. When fans met the Coto Insurance CEO during The Real Housewives of Orange County season 1, she was married to her second husband, Donn Gunvalson. The two were married for 20 years but Vicki filed for divorce in October 2010, just nine months after they renewed their wedding vows. Fans met Gunvalson's now ex-boyfriend, Brooks Ayers, during the start of The Real Housewives of Orange County season 7. Ayers was a fraud, which everyone could see except for Gunvalson. Ayers claimed to have cancer but later confessed that he faked the medical records and lied about his health. After five years of dating, the two broke up and Gunvalson later met Lodge. The retired cop ran for California governor but lost the 2021 election earlier this month. He and Gunvalson called off their engagement just weeks after the election was over.
Judge came to her best friend's side during an emotional time and showed her support of Gunvalson's new single life. In an Instagram post, Judge posted a selfie of the two lying in bed. Judge captioned the post with an inspirational yet witty message. "Life is like a camera, focus on what’s important, capture the good times, develop from the negatives and when things don’t work out …..TAKE ANOTHER SHOT," Judge said. The former RHOC star ended the message saying she's ready to get a call from Gunvalson to "whoop it up."
Even though Judge was showing her love to Gunvalson, it wouldn't be in her true manner if she didn't throw some shade. Judge added the hashtags, #byeboy and #youdeservebetter to the caption, clearly showing her dislike to Lodge. Housewife Gina Kirschenheiter showed her support to Gunvalson in the comments by commenting red heart emojis. Gunvalson also reposted Judge's post to her own Instagram feed.
Judge and Gunvalson have fought like sisters, and sometimes like enemies, during their time on The Real Housewives of Orange County but they have also been there for each other when they were at their lowest points. Fans may miss the two-thirds of the former "tres amigas" but they will make an appearance on Real-Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip season 2 that will be available to stream on Peacock.
