Yemen's security forces clash with gunmen in Aden, 5 killed

ADEN, Yemen, Oct. 2 (Xinhua) -- The intense armed confrontations erupted between Yemeni security forces and unknown gunmen in the country's southern port city of Aden on Saturday, a government official told Xinhua.

"A series of street battles struck the residential neighborhoods of Crater district in Aden as security forces attempted to raid hideouts of an armed group in the city," a local government source said
